Hospital Care, Urgent Care, and More

In order to provide coordination of care across a patient’s health continuum, CareUnity offers patients the largest physician organization in the Spokane area. Additionally, patients have access to three high-quality hospitals and three urgent care centers, where doctors, nurses and other providers have access to up-to-date, electronic patient records, allowing for a more seamless health care experience.

Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center

Founded as a 31-bed facility in 1886, Providence Sacred Heart is now home to a regional cancer center, a transplant center, the only Level II Pediatric Trauma Center in Eastern Washington, specialty care, support groups, and more. As a major regional medical center, Sacred Heart features 644 beds and employs more than 4,000 health care professionals, including over 800 specialists and primary care doctors. Over the years the medical center has been honored for its stroke program, acute care, cardiac care, trauma center preparedness, and more, including being named a top regional hospital.

Sacred Heart Children’s Hospital

Sacred Heart Children’s Hospital is a dedicated pediatric hospital within Sacred Heart Medical Center. With specialists—representing 28 pediatric subspecialties—the staff at Children’s is able to attend to both medical and surgical needs. Sacred Heart Children’s offers the region’s only pediatric intensive care, psychiatry, hematology, and oncology programs, as well as specialized trauma care for children with emergency medical needs. Other important services include pediatric cardiac care, neonatal intensive care, adolescent medicine, developmental medicine, and more.

Providence Holy Family Hospital

With more than 1,000 employees—including nearly 200 physicians—Providence Holy Family Hospital has earned high marks in the areas of gastroenterology, orthopedics, and pulmonology from U.S. News and World Report. In addition, HealthGrades.com ranks Holy Family in the top 5 percent for emergency medicine and patient safety.

Providence Medical Park

Providence Medical Park in the Spokane Valley features convenient access to primary care, urgent care and specialty physician offices, a wide array of diagnostic and imaging services, a medical laboratory and a pharmacy. Visible from I-90, the Medical Park is located east of Sullivan just off Indiana and has plenty of convenient, free parking.

For health care needs that require prompt medical attention but do not pose an immediate health threat, CareUnity offers three urgent care centers, open 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily. Patients can receive treatment for colds, the flu, ear infections, sore throats, migraine and fever, and minor injuries, including lacerations, low-level burns, sprains, and simple fractures. No appointments are necessary.
